Have you ever found yourself replacing lamps or overpaying for a simple sensor change? Do you want to save time and money? If so, you've come to the right place! For over 30 years, ESC Inc. has been in the repair industry, and we're here to guide you through a simple process to ensure you never have to replace your lamps or overpay for a sensor change again.
Just follow our easy wiring diagram, color wire by color wire, and you'll be able to complete the installation in just 4 easy steps. In most cases, the previous touch sensor will have permanent wire nuts. Simply cut the wires to remove them, and strip back the raw copper wire. If the wire nuts are removable, twist them counterclockwise to remove, and then use the new orange wire nuts to make the new wire connections.
Refer to the wiring diagram while connecting each wire. If there is an existing touch wire, in some cases, it's easier to cut and strip the wire from the lamp so you can wire nut to join the (green) touch wire from the sensor box. You can also remove the bolt from the lamp base and connect the yellow wire circle to the touch surface as intended (see options 1 and 2 on the instructions).
Using a wire nut, connect the (white) wire from the sensor box to one wire from the lamp and one wire from the plug (a 3-wire connection: 1 lamp, 1 plug, and 1 white).
Using a wire nut, connect the (red) wire from the sensor box to the only remaining wire from the lamp.
Using a wire nut, connect the (black) wire from the sensor box to the only remaining wire from the power plug.
